Young Canova at the Museo Correr

  1. Recently went round there, after a few years of not visiting it. The "Napoleonic" layout is rather effective. But there's still always some point at which we seem rather to end up re-tracing our steps. Saw an impressive exhibition there concerning Icons last year. thanks for your images, which always remind us of things we've seen in Venice, or introduce us to things we've missed there! Please keep on doing it....

  2. The Canova museum [www.museocanova.it] in Possagno is impressive as well. They are currently having an exhibition on George Washington through April. Many replicas of his most famous works are in the museum. Worth a visit.
