    1. I'm happy you discovered it! Before I ever thought we might be able to live here, VDP was the first blog I found about Venice: it and the others I've found through it continue to show me that even if one is lucky enough not to have to miss the city while living elsewhere, there's still plenty of things I miss even while living here. If that makes any sense...

    1. I'm a sucker for lighted signs of life amid darkness, so I'm glad to find that you share my weakness (or should we call it a strength?). The great pic you link to, though I know it's in Paris, for some reason reminds me of the beautiful small Campiello Barbaro in Dorsoduro. Perhaps because last time I saw it was late at night.
