I like your fog photos. I paint reflections in Paris windows and there have been times when I did not want myself in the picture. If you move to one side or the other and take your photo, you can get two photos and you can eliminate yourself. Photoshop has a skew function that allows you to square up the angles and therefore eliminate yourself. I like the effect of your being in this one.
Thanks for the suggestion, Richard, I'll try it. But, yes, in this case, as much as I liked the receding row of circular tables, it seemed like a figure lower right would also be useful. My (surrealist-inspired) title for it is "Autoritratto con pianoforte," as of course the autoritratto and piano are of the least interest.
Did I hear that the fog had stopped some of those wretched liners berthing at Venice? If so: goody goody!
I believe it does, Ella, which may be another reason why solidly foggy mornings in Venice have the feel of holidays--at least holidays from the usual tourist crowds.
