In a Fog, Last Night

Palazzo Pisani-Moretta was lit up red last night for some kind of private festivity
All was quiet at the land entrance to Ca' Barbaro, though far too brightly lit for the ghost of Henry James I was hoping to find
At 11 pm the fog really began to take over

    1. Thank you, Danielle, Venice is a wonderful place in the fog--and I've been enjoying the photos you took of it, too.

Looking at the ones of the traghetto, for example, I can actually feel/remember the quality of the cold and the almost choking damp--they somehow suggest the experience perfectly.

For anyone who hasn't seen the pics of yours I refer to, here's the link:

  2. These photographs are breathtaking. I just subscribed to your blog, and look forward to reading more about your experiences. What I've read so far is very enjoyable. A gem for Italophiles, for sure.

    Un caro saluto,
    Daniel
