    Darn, don't you just hate it when your invitation goes astray? And, you probably had your tuxedo all pressed and waiting, no doubt. Well, it's their loss, the parties were probably big flops!

    PS Is it any cooler?

      It has cooled down over the last few days--and we even have gotten that rarest of things: a little rain (but only a little). But I expect it to heat up again...

      As I just--finally--responded to Y above, yes, it's cooled down a bit over the last few days. I hope you do enjoy catching up--luckily you don't have to worry about any pop quizzes or exams. It's always nice to have you back though.
