Beautifully framed! So often as one passes by, one sees those magical little vignettes, and if you have a camera handy, you may be able to capture them, if not ... they lodge in your memory, at least. Thank you.
Thank you, Ella: I'm just always struck by the way scenes in Venice are so often and seemingly inevitably framed by what are actually just incidental architectural elements. It's a city of vistas, and even if you have a camera with you you can't always catch all of them: either because they're too fleeting or because no lens can quite take in the same elements in the same relation that the human eye does from a certain perspective.
