I didn't know about that tailor, Mary. I've never actually stepped foot on that bridge. Lately when I pass it I'm reminded that it's the bridge that Katharine Hepburn & her lover cross over in Summertime before a night of fireworks, both literal and romantic. They are shown entering the door to the left of the bridge.
