Beautiful pictures as usual, siór Nonloso. Especially the show of traditional Venetian crafts. Hopefully Carnevale can still be something that can bring Venetians together, even if there will always be plenty of gloating tourists.

Thanks very much, Andreas, for your kind remarks and wishes. The tourists enjoying weekday Carnevale festivities are usually of the nicest sort one could ask for. It's only on the insanely-crowded weekends (starting on Fridays) that the density of the crowds seem not only damaging to the city but dangerous to the tourists themselves.
