ReplyDeleteThank you, Freda, and I agree with you about candles, which are rather peculiar things if you find yourself fixating on them, the sense of profound stillness that can sometimes paradoxically arise from their slight flicker, as well as the way they can somehow seem to intensify one's sense of silence.
