Looking at this bright light makes me think its warm there. I checked at 11 pm your time and it is about 20 degrees warmer than here in Austin TX. It is usually between 50 and 55F here this time of year. I love the shape the blue sky makes in the water.
Well, Richard, I'm not sure I'd say "warm"--but of course it's relative. Just remember to factor in the dampness to any consideration of Venice's winter temperatures, as, for example, after a day without the heat on in a Venice apartment it's not so much the chill that one feels as the dampness. Of course when the sun is out lately, and you're in the sun and out of the wind, it can feel warm. But, unfortunately, we don't have anything like Austin's music scene....
