Bells would have been great, Rob, but luckily the slap of the waves wasn't too intense, or they would have likely splashed over the low sides of our little boat--lowest of all right where I was sitting. But it's a wonderful time to be on the water.
My wife and I spent 8 days in your beautiful city in Oct. The day we toured the lagoon it was very foggy when it started which made the city very mysterious. Then by the time we reached the lagoon it lifted, the best of both worlds.
As much as I like the fog, Guy, your experience of first the fog and then clarity really does sound like the ideal outing. Thanks very much for your comment.
Magnifico!
ReplyDeleteGrazie, Line!
DeleteAnd the wonderful muffled slap of the waves and, if you time it right, the bells :-)
