After the Storm, This Evening


Above you'll see the city's reward after a long day of rain.

Though it turned out not to be so much after as between showers: an intermission rather than the grand finale it appears to be.

      You may have missed this one, but I'm sure there will be some marvelous ones the next time you are here! Venice sunsets are so often beautiful one could almost photograph them every evening.

    Much to my son's chagrin: we were supposed to be playing soccer but as long as the sunset lasted I found it impossible to take my attention away from it for too long. He, alas, had a much less lasting enthusiasm for it.
